Miriam's love advice: Paano po mag-move on?

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago continued to delight her followers on Twitter and Facebook by answering some questions posted in her social media accounts.

Santiago answered three questions posted by Twitter followers, with the hashtag #MiriamMondays and #AskMiriamAnything.

The first question asked Santiago: "How tough was it for you to decide to step down as the judge of the [International Criminal Court]?"

Miriam was forced to give up her post in the ICC after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.
She answered: "Very tough. I always wanted to be a judge of an international court applying international law. On hindsight, I was prevented from taking my oath as a judge because I was already precancerous."

Santiago also said she considers Apolinario Mabini as the "greatest president that the Philippines never had."
Mabini was considered the Brains of the Philippine Revolution during the Spanish occupation. He was the first Prime Minister of the Philippines, serving first under the Revolutionary Government, and then under the First Philippine Republic.

Santiago was also asked for advice about being spurned by a crush.
A question posed by Atheena Mae (@NotTheGoddess) asked: "Hello ma'am. Paano po mag-move on? Mahal ko siya pero hindi niya ako mahal. Payo naman po."

Santiago's reply?
"Enlarge your circle of friends. The more friends you meet, the more likely you will find someone who will take the place of the unresponsive person."

Santiago earlier posted an online video thanking her more than 2 million FB followers and nearly 900,000 Twitter subscribers.

She reminded her followers that she will organize a meet-and-greet session with them.
"When I'm recovered, we shall not only see each other. We shall have a meet and greet session and then we shall have selfies and then we shall talk against our enemies," he said.

The senator earlier said she is mulling the possibility of running for president in 2016 if she fully recovers from cancer. If she runs, she said she will choose Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, former defense chief Gilbert Teodoro, or Senator Grace Poe as running-mate.
