Pulse Asia: Duterte maintains lead in Pulse Asia survey



MANILA, Philippines — Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte maintained his lead in the latest Pulse Asia survey commissioned by ABS-CBN Corp. released early Wednesday.
The presidential front-runner kept his 33-percent rating for the second week in a row.
Liberal Party standard-bearer Manuel "Mar" Roxas II and Sen. Grace Poe are in a statistical tie with 22 percent and 21 percent, respectively.
Vice President Jejomar Binay scored 17 percent while Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago obtained 2 percent.
Duterte was the top presidential bet among respondents in Mindanao with 58 percent choosing him. The mayor was also the top pick in the National Capital Region with 40 percent.
 On the other hand, Poe took the lead in Luzon with 28 percent while Roxas took Visayas with 38 percent.
Duterte also emerged as the top bet among classes ABC and D with 37 percent and 33 percent, respectively. Duterte and Roxas were statistically tied in class E with 31 percent and 24 percent, respectively.
The survey was conducted from April 26 to 29 among 4,000 respondents nationwide. The respondents were adults who are registered voters with biometrics.
