On Sunday, the military discovered a tunnel used by the Maute
group in Marawi City.
Discovered
in one of the houses occupied by the Maute group, the photo of the tunnel was
shared by the military to radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag.
As the military troopss continue their clearing operations to
recover structures in the war-torn city's downtown area from the Maute
group-led militants, the troops discovered the tunnel.
A
separate Twitter post by radio dzBB showed a video of house recovered by troops
from the Maute group.
Government forces on Sunday continued to pound known positions
of the Maute group in Marawi City with airstrikes.
The
ongoing conflict has entered its 62nd day.
The
military said that more than 570 people, mostly militants, have been killed in
